Cellar Door

The cellar door is open from 11am to 4pm on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays as well as most NSW public holidays.  We are closed on Good Friday, Anzac Day, Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Day.

Michael is generally at the winery during the week and welcomes visitors outside our normal opening times.  Please call Michael on 0411 730 724 to arrange a time for a visit.

With the current Covid situation in NSW, Dionysus Winery has made the painful decision to close. Unfortunately the large reduction in visitor numbers, coupled with the risk of the covid virus spreading to regional NSW has made it too challenging and unviable to remain opem. We hope to open shortly after the Greater Sydney lockdown ends. At this stage we will not reopen until Friday 6 August. Bookings can be made for our experiences after this date. If we need to close for longer we will offer full refunds as soon as we are aware of any changes. Please look after yourselves and we hope to see you soon.

Self Paced and Spaced Tasting Experience (Maximum group size 9 people)

We are offering self paced and spaced wine tasting experiences for visitors to the cellar door. You will receive the first tasting in a glass followed by six 20ml bottles of wine to taste at your leisure. Seats are available in the cellar door (limited), under the pergola, in the winery or in the vineyard. You also have the option of purchasing an individual cheese plate to go with your tasting.

Cheese plates are available for $15 per person and have three gourmet cheeses, homemade quince paste, dried fruit, nuts and crackers. We also have a range of antipasto, cold meats, cheeses, snacks and sweet treats.

The cost of the self paced and spaced tasting experience is $5 per person. Each person who purchases a bottle of wine will have the fee waived.

Please see the "Make a booking" tab for options. You can book directly online or call 0411 730 724.

Group visits (Maximum group size up to 20 people)

Michael and Wendy O'Dea, owners and wine makers at Dionysus Winery, enjoy sharing their passion for wine with small and large groups. For groups of ten or more people we have developed a couple of group tasting options to ensure that your visit to Dionysus Winery meets all your needs.

Option 1: Self Paced and Spaced Tasting Experience - similar to the experience outlined above with an area set for you prior to arrival. The cost of this option is $10 per person and each person who purchases a bottle of wine will receive a $5 discount.

Option 2: Perfect if the purpose of your day is to socialise with friends and family at the wineries. Don't worry about tasting a range of wines - go straight to this option! Each person will recieve a glass of wine of their choice (five choices provided) and cheese plates (three cheeses, nuts, dried fruit and crackers). Sit back, drink wine, eat cheese and have a lovely time with your friends and family. The cost of this option is $20 per person.

Please see the "Make a booking" tab for options. You can book directly online or call 0411 730 724.
