More than great wine - gifts, gems and produce
Just a 35 minute drive from the centre of Canberra, we are located at 1 Patemans Lane, Murrumbateman.
Enjoy a wine tasting experience sitting in the cellar door, in the winery or under the pergola overlooking our beautiful views.
Choose five wines from our current wines (with the exception of our CB Young, Reserve Shiraz that is $2 for a taste).
Our team will take you on a journey through the wines and will be able to answer all your questions. We will be guided by you - some people love to explore everything about each wine and some people prefer to explore the wines on their own.
The tasting is $5 per person and it is refundable for each person who purchases a bottle of wine. Any additional wines that you would like to taste are an additional $1 each.
Other tasting options include cheese and wine, self paced cheese and wine pairing or picnics. We do welcome people without bookings but in order to avoid dissapointment it is recommended that you make a booking. CLICK HERE TO VISIT OUR BOOKINGS PAGE. If you cannot book online please email firstname.lastname@example.org or call 0411 730 724 to make a booking.
We welcome groups of up to twenty people and have two options to choose from. Please visit our make a booking page for details. CLICK HERE TO VISIT OUR BOOKINGS PAGE. If you cannot book online please call 0411 730 724 to make a booking.
Some people are hungry and some people just a tad peckish. We offer a selection of cold meats, cheeses, antipasto, pate, bread loaves or rolls, crackers, nuts, olives, dips etc for you to select from. Grab a basket and fill it with your goodies. Pass your basket to our team members and they will then put your selection onto platters for you to nibble on with a wine tasting or glass of wine. There is also a range of soft drinks, coffee and tea available.
For those who don't want the task of choosing from the cheese selection we offer cheese plates for $15 per person. The plates have three gourmet cheeses, homemade quince paste, dried fruit, nuts and crackers.
For those with a sweet tooth we have a small selection of sweet treats - biscuits, slices etc.
Dionysus Winery has teamed up with local coffee roasters, Ideal Coffee, to have a special blend of arabica beans roasted each week for the winery.
If you are looking for a unique experience for a group of 15 to 40 people to join in with some team activities as well as having time to socialise, then the perfect solution may be a games afternoon at Dionysus Winery. Available on weekday afternoons, you will get exclusive use of the sculpture garden, a food and beverage package and the use of multiple outdoor games. Create a competitive atmosphere if you like, or just have the games available - the choice is yours.
For more information and ideas on making a package to suit your team please email email@example.com or call 0411 730 724.
Dionysus Winery sells a selection of gourmet products made in the local area as well as the Riverina and Southern Highlands. Our range includes juicy olives, caramelised balsamic vinegar, pickled onions, salsa and dukkah.
We are now selling raw honey and honeycomb harvested from hives close to the winery. Absolutely delicious!
After years of serving homemade quince paste with our cheese platters and having people beg to buy some, we now have it available to purchase! An intense flavour and awesome texture (not like the large commercial jelly quince paste).
Dionysus Winery has an extensive range of wine accessories for the wine enthusiast including Riedel glass and decanters, port sippers, wine aerators, decanter cleaners, stemless wine glasses, bottle openers, wine thermometers, pourers, wine appreciation books and much more.
A gift can be found for every wine lover.
Wine is definitely a passion with Wendy, one of the owners of Dionysus Winery. Another passion of hers is gemstones. Wendy is keen to share the beauty of gemstones with visitors by offering a large range of jewellery and giftware. From bracelets and necklaces to bowls made out of carving gemstones.
As owners of three poorly behaved, yet loveable, fur babies we openly welcome dogs to share the winery experience with their hoomans. Whilst not allowed inside the cellar door, there is plenty of comfy seating under the pergola or in the sculpture garden.
